I would resign Cousins for a couple years and build the team around him. Don't think there are that many better options out there.

The Vikings have a shot to get to 2 or 3 games over 500 before their bye week. The next few opponents are easier games and they have one of the easiest remaining schedules. So on paper they do have a realistic shot at getting a wild card spot. I do not see them catching Detroit unless they can beat the Lions both games later this season.
I don't see them making a splash with a trade today but Tannehill could make sense. He is on the final year of his deal and the Titans have Will Levis and Malik Willis. But the Titans probably see Tannehill as their best option to make the playoffs.
I do like the idea of resigning Kirk again and agree he is the best available option. But that comes with risk given the injury and unknown timeframe for recovery. Maybe he would resign for much cheaper??
