This year Russell played well enough to win more football games than they did. The Broncos need to take a hard look at Payton. Is he as legit as we thought he was or is he just another guy who benefitted greatly from a Hall of Fame player and a good GM in Mickey Loomis? I guess we'll find out, but I think the answer to that question is becoming obvious.
