for a small carry/pocket gun I like the Kahr PM9, it costs a bit more, but when you shoot it, or take it apart to clean it you will know where your money went.

Same issue with the Shield, kind of wish the release was plastic instead of metal lol.
PM9 is a great carry gun, trigger is so smooth. I just wish it had more capacity.
