I have RK Autowerks with filters similar to MSR's. I took them off yesterday and found rust and tons or dust inside. Lots of dust and grime on the metal adapter, too.
MSR uses Blitz and RK uses some other brand (found some on eBay for $15!).
Stick with K&N cones or stock set-up with K&N drop-ins.
