In reality, you and people like you are precisely why the country can't move forward and address the senseless gun violence that keeps happening. Children were gunned down today, Dude. By a racist, immigrant-hating asshole. Who was unleashed by this president. The guy literally left a manifesto referencing Trump. This isn't a "both sides" issue. Maybe, and hear me out, you could try doing even a cursory bit of legitimate, fact-based, statistically-informed research before you post garbage takes on a public forum.
Did you happen to look up the Dayton shooter? He supported Elizabeth Warren and is a socialist, but you didn't see a word of that on CNN.

Doesn't matter...crazy is crazy. Let's not forget the man who opened fire at a republican congressional soft ball practice.

I almost forgot...Chavez was a socialist too...He took the guns away from Venezuelan citizens early on. He fleeced the countries oil, kicked out private business, pitted the poor against the rich and now the poor are eating out of dumpsters. That's not hyperbole either.

We have guns in the US to protect against future oppressive regimes. The hundreds of millions guns in population assure that no country could ever invade us by land.

The real truth is people are murdered by the thousands everyday in our inner cities, and nobody gives a shit. Nobody talks about that because the cities are mostly democratic ran. It is a war zone in south Chicago. Like Ice T said, "Well I will give up my guns when everyone else does..." That will be never so I'll keep all 20 of mine. If push comes to war in twenty years, I will let you borrow my lowest caliber since you aren't for owning guns. Good luck with a .22 single shot.
