For what it's worth I would be far more safer carrying small arms well hidden to protect my family should there be a terrorist outrage close to us and if it was the difference between being downed or them then at least we would have a chance of survival with the recent outrages in various parts of the world and keeping in mind the perpetrators could well be taken down by a trained handler (with no police record) before continuing their killing spree.
