It was a 30 zone and with the usual stab of the throttle, before I was paying attention I was doing ‘38’ or something like that. The camera car was about half a mile away and crudely hidden behind bushes to cover the obligatory shiny chevrons.
It was a ‘fair cop’ but for a long time I fell out of love with the car, realising that it goes from speed limit to lose licence so fast it spoils the fun a bit. My insurance is really cheap but it will jump to nightmare cost with any significant points.

Its a bitter pill, but I am glad we dont have the points system over here...although the more relaxed laws on highway speeds wouldnt go amiss in Sweden.
I got 48hrs before the ban so my time runs out tomorrow morning 0851.
So I drove in today at what seemed like snail pace - and will ready the car for a stint out of trafick.
