Hi Everyone

I'm an e90 328i user. And I'm trying to buy a F10 M5. I heard M5's V8 put the turbo between the V location and this cause massive heat there. And this made the car not that reliable, issue like turbo gasket leak, water pump, battery dies and so on. But also I heard BMW did some tech upgrade on his n63 engine (for 550i) in 2014.Not sure about S63 engine. So can anyone tell me how does BMW fix those issues? Also how much repair fee that you spend on your M5 pre year.
