i purchased a used mperformance spoiler from a forum member recently. he did not disclose any damage and, to my dismay, the piece arrived as shown in the pics: 3" scratch and slight crack in the clear coat. no damage to carbon fiber.

while it's under the spoiler, and not particularly visible, my ocd will know it's there and will ruin my enjoyment.

i've read/watched videos that lead me to believe wet sanding, epoxy resin and polishing will fix it. i certainly would prefer not to go to that length if it can be avoided.

anyone with experience or ideas?
i'm looking at my tube of polywatch wondering "if it's good enough for my speed master, maybe will work on the spoiler?"
