to answer your question on the wheels a comp pack M5 could have been ordered with the 343M (20" M5 Wheels) or the 601M (Competition) Wheels but you couldn't order the 601M wheels without getting comp pack.
You can use websites like BMWVIN.COM to decode a car's vin and confirm whether the car has comp pack or not and get the entire build sheet of the car.
Also, In the US in order to get HUD and rear heated seats you needed to get Executive pack which comes with comfort access just as an FYI. Not sure if its the same in UK
