I have the same problem! Please HELP.
While talking on my phone using bluetooth, I had the door open for 1 minute and all of my stereo system went dark. I've tried powering it on and it wouldn't power on, however using Bavarian cable, I was able to confirm that the power button is getting signal. The iDrive buttons on the other hand, is not sending signals.
