I had a really good chuckle the other day. Rewatching F1 Drive to survive with my father-in-law. Max leading the race, Ocon trying to unlap himself...a smart driver who knows how to win would have just gotten out of the way and let Ocon go and gone on to win the race.
Max “Hold my beer!” My ego is as wide as the track so no one can pass me....you know the rest of he story...
Even my father-in-law (who used to race midgets and was one of the first to build/drive a rear engine one) was like WTF is Max doing there, he cost himself the race, he should have just let Ocon by and cruised along to a win.
