If you code it to 'exhaust flap: ON', then does it remain open every time you start the engine without having to open BimmerCode each time?
From the sound of it, no. The bimmercode app sends messages constantly to the dongle that command the exhaust open or closed, so take the dongle or phone out of the picture, and the exhaust will go back to operating as it did before.

Last time I checked the reviews for this app weren't good and it's a lot of money for a bunch of not very useful features. Cash cow for whoever wrote it.
