Could be anything. I'd clear the codes, run the car and get it to malfunction again. Immediate check the codes before turning off the engine.

I don't have experience with a "compression code" but it doesn't sound like a standard misfire causing the DTM. We would need a lot more information in order to help you. If you can't diagnose and repair yourself, you're better off getting it to act up again and take it to a repair shop for diagnosis.
