I don't know about the actual percentage of current M3/M4 but there is a poll thread asking people and the MT is the winner.... 1021 vs 911 (53% vs 47%)...

For sure the current production has a lot more DCT but I bet the percentage of manual in M3/M4 world is a lot more than 7% (M5)...and trust me MT on this car is fantastic especially with great gear ratios...
