You have a slight coolant leak. Mine is exactly the same at the moment, BMW do a repair kit that includes 4 hoses 8 clips and 4 heatshields. I'll be changing mine this week.
Despite the hoses supplying and returning water to the turbos it is not actually the small reservoir that supplies the coolant, it is actually the main reservoir on the right hand side of the engine bay when looking at the car. Check that also.
