I would use the clamps in the kit picture or fuel hose clamps. Dont use the ones you have in the bottom pic. The reason you dont use those is they actually put small cuts in the rubber lines as they tighten. If you notice the clamps in the kit or fuel line clamps have smooth finishes and not serrated like the screw type clamps.
