I was speaking to another person on the forum about a similar noise like yours on his M5 DCT when at full stop running then no noise when moving off. A lot of suggestions were made by contributors and he too added that his dealer said that it was 'normal' which it obviously isn't.
He recorded the sound to put it on here which was a rattly metallic sound and I can only think of a worn Dual Mass Flywheel.There's a bearing that can be replaced but when DCT is moved people usually have a complete replacement for peace of mind.
If that is the problem then while it's there your DCT could have a trans oil change, would make sense while its up on a ramp.
I'm not saying this is definitely the cause but worth drilling your agent about especially if you have warranty. Good luck!
