Having had an M5 with both steel and ceramic, I can say that I simply love not dealing with the brake dust, the squeel is horrible, and if they're cold you don't get the full bite...all that being said I love them and I'll make every effort to continue to buy cars with the package, but I would never pay for the set new. $9,000 option that adds almost no pre-owned value.
