I updated my steering wheel from older 2013 version to the 2014+ version and this buzzing issue came around.
1.) didn't happen with the smaller 19" winter wheels
2.) did happen with 20" stock wheels and both PSS and PS4S tires.
My solution similar to discussed, remove metal clip... use double sided foam tape... and...
*** trial & error tension with zip ties ***
tension was to keep enough pressure lane departure would work and be felt, and no noise.
It took 2-3 tries but I got it dial in. Good luck,
