It really is a doddle to install. There's no wrenching of parts, just some gentle persuasion. Even having never done it when I installed the set, it took me perhaps an hour to go steadily and swap the pieces out. The centre console piece needs some care, protecting the gear knob with a duster, but it's nothing I'd dream of engaging a specialist to do. When I came to swap it back out when the car was sold, it maybe took me no more than 45mins.
