BAD NEWS: This past week we got 2 inches of snow in Maryland and tires were barely useable. Then, later that same day, we got a good amount of sleet and ice.

The tires were useless in snow with ice on top. I literally had to go up a very minor grade backwards to get home. These tires, when 305 mm wide, are useless in snow with ice and may not be much better at lesser widths.

These tires are much better than summer tires when road was below 40 degrees F and without snow and ice. To drive this vehicle in snow of any kind, it appears it may be best just to make the investment with a dedicated set of smaller and thinner wheels and true winter tires.
