It may be a one off but getting the codes read for piece of mind would be worthwhile
I cant see wiring the flaps open would cause this
I find if the flaps are always open you do get drone at certain speeds which is why the Exhaustmeister is a better solution.
I know a fellow M owner who is selling one for £50 so PM me if interested. A lot better than wire
