See that the post it’s quite a time ago ,hope someone is still active in here and can get some help
I intend to buy a pair of aftermarket LED aftermarket headlights plug and play (the factory based in China mention they will work only with original xenon cars) I have an F10 2012 520D with an Halogen Original headlights.
I want to ask if anyone done this retrofit before ,as I saw few other post they install those headlights on Halogen cars also (i.e Umintza) but it faced few errors what needs to be coding ,and loose the adaptive mood,other than that they said everything it works perfect.I seen that the difference is the numbers of pins onto the headlights (halogen has 1 or 2 pins more) See attached the headlights I want to buy.
Any advices from where should I start to make it work? Appreciate !
