Some people might recommend additional things like suspension mods but I suggest waiting on that until you've used the car on the track to know how it handles for you and see what you might want to improve, if anything.

Good advice for sure. I'm in the same boat; haven't done a track day yet but I plan to in the fall. Also just mounted some ps4's ...I went 305's on the rear, hoping that doesn't cause issues (softer sidewall).
Might want to look into track insurance; I plan on squaring that away before touching the car.
Brake pads and fresh fluid are definitely a good starting point. Most tracks will also require proof of a tech inspection by a good shop. Personally, I plan to use BPC in Raleigh NC then head to VIR for some laps.
Obviously, I won't be setting any records; the goal will be to have fun and bring it home in one piece under its own power.
