Of course an independent inspector is used at lease end for final charge assessments, but they're supposed to pre-appraise it using same said inspector so you can be aware of the charges before you return the vehicle. That way, you can remedy and potential issues (tires, glass, etc.). The first step is where they failed and how I got stuck with the bill.
You have 45 days so whichever dealer you are using next, demand they do this inspection for you so you have no ugly surprises.
