Exactly what I'm going to do. I have the 3 position rocker switch which I'll mount on the "roof" of the secret compartment interior. It switches the center pin from either of the two outer pins, and has a center "off" position which will leave the center pin unconnected. This off position will float the control line to the solenoid and will produce the valve closed always setting. For the valve open, I just need to find a ground under the dash for one of the switch inputs. The control signal from the ECU will go to the other switch input, so I'll be running a two wire bundle from the trunk forward to the secret compartment.
