Transmission rattle in neutral

Hello

I have tried for the last couple weeks to get info on this topic without any luck.

I just bought a 2013 M5 with a DCT at the end of October with 56,000 miles. I have enjoyed the car thus far but have noticed a rattle similar to a throw out bearing (i understand this car doesn't have a throw out bearing) when at a full stop or in neutral. The sound goes away as soon as i start going forward/engaging the clutch. The noise is loud enough to hear with the windows up.

I have taken the car to the original dealership i purchased it from who said it was "Normal"and a BMW specialty shop who recommended changing the fluid

I guess my questions is are these transmission inherently noisy?

Thank you for the feedback in advance!
