Reviving this as I am in the same spot.
OP - if you pulled the trigger, what route did you go? I cannot go catless for the near term as I will retain my OEM warranty. I love the deep bass-y sound of the Race coupled with the aggressive undertone.
Got shipped the Sport instead of Race and like a good Samaritan I also bought the custom diffuser to go with the oval tips (yes I wanted the Race with oval tips and now I am stuck with the Sport w/ oval tipped). Returning does not seem like an option.
Any thoughts will be valuable
