Missed the point. The launch customer provided their own payload adapter. Northrop Grumman did not use SpaceX’s payload adapter. If they did use their adapter, then the blame would be on SpaceX. But do explain how Northrop Grumman’s defective adapter is somehow SpaceX’s fault.
Anyway that launch and landings was amazing. Shame about the core not making it, but that’s certainly a failure anyone would take on this test flight. It would have been nice to have the core booster to physically inspect to see if everything went according to their simulations, but they will examine the telemetry data to determine that and see why the core didn’t make it.

Apparently, the core ran out of fuel and crashed into the drone platform at sea.
