I travel to Germany regularly and rent cars to get around. Cars are absolutely thrashed there...regularly doing 155 mph for a lot of their life. THe Nurburgring M5 Ring Taxis are thrashed for day after day.
So 100,000 miles is a lot for the engine in a German owned car which can spend a LOT of its life at full throttle. But everywhere else......
I would buy one based on a test drive, condition, service history and if you are not mechanically savvy an independant inspection.
