Done them.Passengers side you can put back as a whole but drivers side is more tight and the bottom half has to be installed first to locate the inlet pipe to the fixed point slide in using your hand inside right at the bottom, then installing the filter and the top cover and screws etc then not forgetting to connect up the plugs.
They sure needed replacing after just 15k miles,the old ones were black when put up to the sky comparing with the new ones.The mini ratchet was needed for the one screw where the screw driver type could not angle reach holding flex pipe away while it was done up.We see now why BMW charge the labour as it's not that easy.
