I've tried to beat carswitchitis but it's coming back...right now prompted by the fall reduction in prices we see up here in the great white north
2 cars just showed up on autotrader that piqued my interest.
2016 CPO 991S at 110K cdn 23000 km
2017 f type coupe R at 90K cdn 8000 km
991S is optioned right, dark blue metallic, PASM, sport design wheel, sport chrono, satin black 20 inch wheels
the f type is optioned ok, white with the carbon 20's
the way I break it down:
the 991s is more expensive but will depreciate at a much lower rate...heck given it's NA engine, it might just hold it's value
the ftype will lose 10000 a year guaranteed, 2016's are going at 80k
the 991S is also a little more practical...with more interior and trunk space, although the f type is AWD
so financially the 991S might actually the better call, I also value porsche reliability, I like smaller cars as well which the 991 is (much narrower)...but that v8 THOUGH
I have never driven a 991S (I had a 981S), but I don't doubt that I will enjoy it, I loved the f type R I last drove...
confused...
