To reply to my own post/question, I found .034 listed at the OE plug gap spec. That said, when I removed the plugs from the car, they were set at .028. The plugs were last changed by BMW, so this is the spec they set them to. The new Bosch plugs were set at roughly .030 out of the box. Since I haven't had trouble with the car, I set the new plugs to the same .028 that came out of the car.
