Ah I see, so he says the F10 M5 is not a precision instrument after driving it for only an hour on the mountain roads near Mammoth California. This makes for a truly in depth and detailed driving experience.
Hogwash I say. That's the thing with these car comparisons, they don't spend enough time in them to truly gauge what the car is capable of. Also the F10 M5 is a pure sedan, the Porsche Panamera GTS is a hybrid sedan / station wagon. Can we really compare the two? Perhaps, but this is a matter of opinion though.
I whole heartedly disagree with his assessment of the M5's steering. The hydraulic steering is as precise as it can be for a 4,400 pound sedan. No doubt the Porsche is extremely well engineered, but I think he had to pick something about the M5 besides the fake sound to evaluate less than the Porsche. I think the Porsche is a bigger car than the M5 too.
