I did it myself and it was 3.5 hours on my LCI. It was the most difficult spark plug change of any car I've ever owned and I did not enjoy this job at all. Next time, if I still own this car, I'll have the shop do it.

On its sister F10 550, this is an easy fun job by contrast.
I'm curious what made it difficult, I've done a few spark plug jobs on my n55 (3-series) engines and they were a pain in the azz because you couldn't easily get to the back plugs (had to use an elbow wrench attachment). That, and the fact that you had to remove so much plastic on the top of the engine made those jobs very time consuming.
