You read that title right, a 20-year old 2000 Honda Civic Si (EM1-Generation) with over 5k miles has sold on Bring-a-Trailer for $50k
The EM1 Si only came in three colors and sold for two model years and included the 1.6L B16A2 Inline-Four engine with a 5-speed Manual Transaxle. Now, while I'm sure that it is a good car, and surprisingly kept in stock condition despite being an Si, I can't help but think that $50k is an absurd amount of money to spend on a 20-year old Civic Si of all cars. I mean, the winning bid is so shocking that this Civic Si in particular has garnered so much press and headlines from automotive news sources.
