I'm getting 1k below MSRP, but even with that, it's really a bad deal, especially if you do an apples to apples comparison between the M3 and the M5 (M3 fully loaded everything except CCBs and M5 with exec + driver assist + lightning packages), M5 comes ahead. I know people who got this car 2 years ago now pay 250-300 bucks more than what I will pay.

Yup with the right kind of deal, an M5 is very affordable. I know someone who leases a 2013 F10 M5 and a 2013 E92 M3 for under $2,000 a month together.
Also the Soft Close Doors make all the difference.
