im going to get in trouble for this, but after starring at my engine for a few mins i think ive worked out the best fix for this, and been done many many times before. the engine breather connects via a push clip to top of intake pipe

1) Remove engine pipe and fit after market oil breather filter
2) Seal open hole in air intake where pipe used to connect

However it may be worth extending the pipe away from turbos as the filters could melt, or just buy metal filters
