In the end I decided against mirror mount or using the twin suction pad bracket on the bottom of the screen instead opting for the flat easy use stick pad supplied with my r/d on top of the dash to the side of the instrument pod, the front of it next to the screen slightly upwards blending into the dash stealthily.Another benefit is quick removal and no suction pad marks on screen.
