I'm not sure what you mean by pong.
The ones I have are the hardest rubber I've seen and still look like new after half a dozen uses and these particular ones protect the plastic initial chassis lift points.
Pong means a heavy smell of rubber hence a sealable plastic bag just big enough for the pair of them keeps the odour in check.
