Reset the OBC and journey computer in conjunction with a brim to brim check - that will give you a more accurate indication as well as showing how far out the OBC is.

As per the manual, you should not exceed the applicable RPM limit for the first 1,200 mile break-in period.
Thereafter you can gradually begin to open up, but it's important that you don't overload the engine and you should also vary the revs as much as possible; ie, don't cruise for long distances at a steady RPM until you have about 2,000 miles on the car.
