I took my car in for service and asked them to do the SIB. Picked up the car a few days later and got half a block before I realized the brakes sounded worse, not better. Looked at my printout and sure enough the dreaded "Could not replicate".
Drove into the dealership the next morning and grabbed the shop foreman for a ride. We got half a block before he stated that mine was the worst he had ever heard. He wasn't sure if they would have to change just pads or pads and rotors. They have had my car for several days now so I assume they are still trying to chase it down.
On a side note, they gave me a 428i Convertible which has been great since it has been in the mid 70's all weekend!
