Cool carbon pads on the front completely eliminated my brake noise. I left rear OEM. I also have a lip on the edge of my rotors, but I didn't change them, and have had no problems. Much less brake dust.
Looks like ECS stopped selling them for the F10 M5, but European auto source appears to sell them, both front and rear.
