Tire Impressions for Bridgestone PTZ RE980AS beyond 20K miles

After just over 20K miles, here's how the tires have performed.

Tread Life: FRONT 7/10ths and REAR 4.5 to 5/10ths

Likes:
On-center feel and stability remain excellent
Tires still do not follow groves in the road
Are just beginning to transmit road expansion joints into the cabin
Tire noise on some road surfaces is now present, but still quieter than the Michelin tires
Still maintain better traction in wet and dry weather with temps at and below 30 degrees
Prefer the Bridgestone’s sidewall appearance over MPS4S

Dislikes:
Aggressive turn-in is lacking at high speeds when compared to both sets of Michelin summer tires.
These heavy tires reduce the vehicle's gas mileage
Do not work well on a prepped drag strip
- Spin during launch even when aired down below 25 PSI
- The weight of the tire and the tire's harder compound seems to cause axel hop, more than other tires, on a prepped drag strip. Axle hop only happens at the drag strip.
