Firstly how accurate are the sports displays. As mine goes to about 370kw which works out to just under 500bhp. Is this something to ignore or is it telling the truth?

Secondly my mate has a 2012 jaguar xfr. They have about 510 bhp but like bmw they under quote there bhp figures so its more like 530bhp. So anyway we had a few runs last night and i couldnt shift him at all. It was identical, is that right?

2 things we can think is either mines lacking power for some strange reason or his could have been renapped before he brought it.

Any thoughts or anyone had experience going agaisnt one?

Thanks
My 2013 M5 does not seem to have sport displays but my 2014 550 did and they seemed to lag just a bit but appeared accurate. As you read below, you will see that your cars should be almost identicle in terms of speed if both cars are running correctly and both achieve good traction.

Several years back, I had a Jaguar S-Type R and a group of us Jag guys went to race the 1/4 mile at Maryland International Raceway (MIR). There was a guy who ran his new (less than 1000 miles) XFR. He raced his XFR 7-8 times and he was trapping between 115 and 121 MPH. His times were inconsistent too due to lack of traction. This spring, I took my F10 M5 to the same track (MIR) on a day with similar temperatures and was trapping between 117 and 120. I have trapped at just over 123 MPH but it was only 45-50 degrees F.

BTW, my Dinan tune seems to help only on a roll race above 70 MPH and actually seems slower from 0-60 MPH. Strange and the Dinan programs have been checked twice at the dealer.
