Based on your codes. I will check if the battery isn't about to die, then check if the DME connectors are connected properly and not loose. also, the earth connection to both DME's, If all of that if fine I will check the harness it self. |
battery was only a year old when the teardown started. have it on trickle charge a week before it was going to be started. I'll get him to check the harness. He checked connections but not continuity. I don't know any good auto electrician to ask to look at it. I found a kill switch in the little compartment beside the steering wheel. found wires tapped into the shed loading relay too so there's some kind of security system in the car from a previous owner. it has never caused me any issues up to now so hard to believe it has anything to do with it.
