It's incredible that the mileage counters are still so easy to defeat.
Also I find it bizarre that mileage alone is counted. Why not engine RPM statistics along with mileage? Max RPM count of times hit red line, total overall revolutions, running hours etc will all give a much better indication of past vehicle usage and likely wear /condition than mileage alone.
