If you want traction, just go with 305's on M5 343M. I had that before my current setup but I wanted the 601M for aesthetics. Many members here are running 305's on M5 343M with no issues

I have M5 601's on comp pack suspension and run a 305 MPS4S w/ zero issues.
I've been thinking about a 315 (r888r) for the spring/summer/fall but 315 may be pushing it...plus worried about losing what little sharpness the rear has w/ the bulgy sidewall of a 315.
