Oh I loved the Autobahn. Spent hours at a time going 145+ mph. Amazing how fast that fuel gauge drops though.. and at that speed.. blink and you'll miss a street sign. It's also tiring since you have to just laser focus nonstop. Most people on it are driving about 65mph from my experience.. but sometimes you'll look in your mirror and see a Porsche overtaking you at 180mph or more. Or an M5
Pretty special experience.
Then you get to France where you'll get nowhere quick. In Italy driving is madness. Switzerland is amazing. Amsterdam was very cool. The UK driving was tough.. you have to constantly fight your trained reaction and muscle memory. But that made it easier to do another 2000 miles across Japan and Hokkaido last year.
All in rentals unfortunately. 150mph is about all they would do with the pedal nailed to the floor. I would have loved to have my M5 out there but I don't think I would of wanted to go much faster.
